PPP, that means 'Parlamentarisches Patenschafts-Programm'.
It's a stipend by the German Parliament. I tried to get it, but... it didn't work...:(
You have to be familiar with policy, and you have to be very intelligent... I don't really know what the criteria was... But fact is, I didn't get it.
It's a pity... But now, we try to get a half-stipend... I PRETTY hope that it works... *pray*

... is YFU (Youth For Understanding). My two host sisters from Japan came with YFU to Germany, too.
I really have to say that it's a good organisation, they overlook the whole 'thing', and that's good to know....
I'm glad that I chose this organiasation... :)

In 2004/2005 and in 2005/2006 my family hosted two girls from Japan with YFU. Okay, that really wasn't the first touch with YFU... My mother went to the USA years ago (she was 16) and my aunt went there with YFU, too. And the family of my grandma hosted a girl of Japan when my aunt was about 17, too.... And because YFU is such a good organisation, I wanted to make an exchange year, too...
So I applied at YFU... and it worked!! Now I'm waiting for an information about my future host family... *puh* I'm so excited!!!
